NORTHWEST SAPA BIKING TRIP

Destination:SAPA - TRAM TON - BINH LU - BAN HON - TAM DUONG - PA SO - CHINESE BORDER
Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Day 1: NORTHWEST SAPA BIKING TRIP: Sapa Biking Tours – Tram Ton Biking to Binh Lu  – Ban Hon Homestay Tours(L/D)

  You first travel by car uphill toward Tram Ton. On the way, you can take a short walk to the Silver Waterfall and then head to Heaven's Gate, where you can be amazed by breathtaking views to surrounding mountains such as Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina. Your ride will be mostly downhill towards Binh Lu. Here you will have lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch, you turn on to a dirt road to the villages. You will have time to stop by Pa Pen village of Lu minority and then Na Hum of Thai, two groups of ethnic minorities, who do not live in the Sapa area. You are in a beautiful valley of rice paddy terraces and limestone mountains. You will arrive in Ban Hon village of Lu minority, where you spend a night in a local house.
Approx: 40 minutes driving/ 4 hours cycling/ 1 hour working.

Day 2: NORTHWEST SAPA BIKING TRIP:  Ban Hon Biking Tours - Tam Duong – Pa So Homestay Tours (B/L/D)

The next morning, you cycle toward Tam Duong town. You pass by several villages stretching along the way. The ride is relatively flat. You will be able to visit the market in Tam Duong, where you meet Flower Hmong, Black Dao and Lu minorities. You stop by a local restaurant for lunch.
You will start out from Tam Duong by cycling uphill along picturesque tributary of the Na River.  You will see some places of gold exploration along the river. You also pass by many villages of Thai minority spreading along the way before reaching to Pa So.  You will stay overnight in a  hotel located by the riverbank. Approx: 6 hours cycling/ 1 hour lunch.

Day 3:NORTHWEST SAPA BIKING TRIP: Pa So Biking Tours to Chinese border – Sapa (B/L)

After breakfast, you will cycle to the Chinese-Vietnamese border. The ride is flat on a bumpy road that runs along the river until you meet a small border town. You will be back to the hotel for lunch.
After lunch, you start your journey back to Sapa by either cycling downhill as far as you can or sitting in the car all the way back. You will have time to enjoy the beautiful scenery passing by.  You might have a chance to watch the sunset and take amazing pictures from the pass before you arrive in Sapa (B,L).
Approx: 4 hours driving/ 2 hours cycling/ 1 hour lunch
Note: On the whole trip you will have a supply car, which can give you a lift whenever you feel tired. The itinerary between Binh Lu and Tam Duong on the back road could be changed due to high level of the river. Therefore, the night spent in the local house may be changes into hotel accommodation
