Day 1: MEKONG DELTA PACKAGE TOURS: ARRIVAL – HO CHI MINH CITY SIGHSEEING TOURS ( -/-/-)

 On arrival at Tan San Nhat Airport, you are met by our guide and transferred to hotel. The bustling Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafes. ( If time permits) we stroll around the down town to explore the different local ways of life.

Day 2: MEKONG DELTA PACKAGE TOURS: HO CHI MINH CITY PACKAGE TOURS & CU CHI TUNNEL TRAVEL PACKAGES ( B/-/-)

Morning: A half-day city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City , still called Saigon by many locals, includes the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Sai Gon Post Office, the Chinatown, the former Presidential Palace.
Afternoon: Transfer about 30km north-west of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi town. Cu Chi tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The Cu Chi tunnels consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels, the tunnels are between 0.5 to 1m wide, just enough for a person to crawl along.

Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: MEKONG DELTA PACKAGE TOURS: HO CHI MINH TRAVEL PACKAGES – MY THO – CAN THO PACKAGE TOUR (B/L/D)

In the morning, heading out of town, we travel by roads to the Mekong Delta. This plain region boasts the largest rice bowl of Vietnam. On arrival in My Tho we board a boat navigating around the intricate small canals, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands.
The exciting river trip will pass by the lush green vegetation towards the famous Unicorn Island where we have a chance to stroll around an orchard, taste many seasonal fruits and see farmers at work. We navigate some narrower canals using small rowing boats to Ben Tre Province for an interesting visit to some local industries. The extra enjoyment is a lunch at one of the famous local eating spots.
After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Can Tho .
Arrive in Can Tho, the city located on Mekong Delta bank.

Day 4: MEKONG DELTA PACKAGE TOURS: CAN THO CRUISING TOURS TO CAI RANG – CHAU DOC PACKAGE TOURS (B/L/D)

 After breakfast, board a sampan to visit Cai Rang floating market and a fruit garden (Ba Cong) and then ride on a “xe loi” (motor cyclo) from Chap Phap Bridge to Binh Thuy Ancient House. Observe the rural life and enjoy the beautiful vegetation along the riverbanks. In the afternoon, drive to Chau Doc, near the Cambodian border. On arrival, visit Sam Mountain, a popular pilgrimage site with a host of Chinese, Cham and Khmer temples before checking into your hotel.
Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 5: MEKONG DELTA PACKAGE TOURS: CHAU DOC TRAVEL PACKAGES –  HO CHI MINH PACKAGE TOUR (B/-/-)

 After breakfast, travel through a fascinating floating village where fish are bred in their natural environment and learn more about Cham culture as you visit one of their villages and its mosque. Return to Ho Chi Minh City by road via Cao Lanh. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

Day 6: MEKONG DELTA PACKAGE TOURS: HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE ( B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free for your own activities until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure.
