The longtail boat trip is a perfect way to start our exploration of Bangkok. We navigate along the Chao Phraya River and venture into the many lively inner canals which provide some fantastic views of the local life close up. Along the way we make stop over at Wat Arum, the temple of Dawn, before continuing to the Grand Palace. This masterpiece is dedicated to the Thai Royal Family's ceremony. Day 3: Thailand Travel Packages: Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Bangkok - Sightseeing Tours (B/L/-)

Heading out of the town we drive through the scenic countryside to Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of Siam from 1350 to 1767 AD. This glamorous city was all but ultimately destroyed by the hands of Burmese, however it is still fascinating to explore the ruined temples. Among these is Wat Phra Sisanphet, an impressive monument that was used as the royal temple by several kings. The following sight is Wat Chai whose the constructing patterns are very interesting. We continue to Bang Pa In, which was served as the summer palace for many Thai monarchs. This structure has a captivating collection of marvelous pavilions in a variety of Thai, Chinese, Italian and Victorian architectural styles. We board a luxury boat at Wat Potangtai Pier and cruise down the river to Bangkok, a perfect way to observe the rural landscape.

Day 4: Thailand Travel packages: Bangkok - Chiang Mai Package Tours(B/-/-)

The northbound journey begins as we board a short flight to Chiang Mai. On arrival at airport you are greeted and driven to hotel. The capital of the north, Chiang Mai has rich historical and cultural heritage which is still evident in the architecture with over 300 temples spreading in and around. Today we visit the most famous one set on Doi Suthep Mountain and embark on a walk leading us to Wat Prathat Temple near the summit. At an elevation of over 1,000 m, the temple grounds affords a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside. The tranquil town of Chiang Bang Pa In palace in Bangkok ThailandMai has been always noted for the exquisite handicrafts made of the hill tribe people’s traditional wares. Upon leaving Doi Suthep we set off on a short drive to the neighbouring villages of Sankampaeng and Borsarng to see the various cottages industries including silk weaving, wood carving, silver ware and umbrellas making. We follow this with a visit to the old and new parts of the town featuring the great diversity. As a highlight of this evening , we visit the vibrant night market which is full of local treasures.

Day 5: Thailand Travel packages: Chiang Mai Package Tours - Pai - History Discovery (B/-/-)

Today we make our way northwards Pai, stopping en route at Mae Sa to visit an orchid farm which is filled with gorgeous orchid blooms in a blaze of multi-colors. Upon leaving this site we continue driving to a tribal village of Lisu People. They usually wear the most colourful and brightest costume. We follow the zigzagging roads past the emerald green forests, hills and deep valleys before arriving in Pai by mid afternoon. This tranquil town offers plenty of opportunities for adventure fervors. Day 6: Thailand Travel Packages: Pai - Mae Hong Son Adventure tours (B/-/-)Pai Thailand

The exciting journey continues towards Mae Hong Son. Along the way we make stop at the magnificent Tam Lod Cave and the famous Fish Cave, where thousands of carps live an undisturbed life. We arrive in Mae Hong Son by late morning and board a boat for a leisurely trip along the Pai River, which also provides us a taste of the tranquil countryside and an interesting visit to the Padong hilltribe village. This ethnic group still retains their old age cultural traditions as most of women attempt to have long neck by wearing numerous brass rings around their neck from an early age. The reminder of day will be free to stroll around the town, soak up the pleasant climate and catch our first glimpse. The Burmese influence is prevalent as this town is bordered by the Union of Myanmar to the north and the west.

Day 7: Thailand Travel Packages: Mae Hong Son Package Tours - Chiang Mai - Religion &relics trips (B/-/-)

The sightseeing tour of Mae Hong Son would not be complete without a visit to Wat Jong Kham and Wat Jong Klang, just some of the town's most famous Burmese style monastaries. The first structure was constructed around 200 year ago by the Shan people whilst Wat Jong Klang houses an old glass painting and many wood carvings which depict the various lives of Buddha. A next stop is Doi Kong Moo, which dominates the town and therefore affords a wonderful view of surrounding areas. We then spend the time on our own until transfer to the airport for a flight to Chiang Mai. On arrival you are greeted and driven to hotel. As a highlight of this evening , we visit the vibrant night market which is full of local treasures.

Day 8: Thailand Travel Packages: Chiang Mai Package Tours - Thaton - Chiang Rai - Elephant ridding experience(B/-/-)

Upon leaving the town we set off on our road trips to Chiang Dao. The first stop of our trip is an elephant camp set in lush jungle area. Here, we have a chance to see the colossal animals performing their amazing feats of strength and skill at the command of the mahout. The mountainous region of Chiang Dao is also home of a wide array of hill tribe groups. Today we enjoy exhilarating elephant trek through the neighboring jungle, past bamboo trees and hanging creepers upwards a remote village of Lisu People. This ethnic group is originated in Tibet and usually settled in high mountain side. Upon leaving this area we continue drive along the winding roads to Chiang Rai past the scenic mountain scenery.

Day 9: Thailand Travel Packages: Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Bangkok (B/-/-)

The royal capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom, Chiang Saen is nestled on the bank of the Mekong River which is now the border between Thailand and Laos. Today we travel by roads to Chiang Saen and visit some of the major sights including Wat Phrathat Jom Kitti, Wat Chedi Luang and a nearby museum. The journey continues towards the famous Golden Triangle in which powerful warlords have fought for control the opium trade. Here we have time to stroll around and make a stop at the opium museum. The display of pictures and documents feature the opium story dating back to the early last century onwards. We then enjoy a boat trip along the Mekong River to catch a look of the watery border between Laos , Thailand and Burma. Day 3: Highlight of Thailand Tours: Bangkok - Damnern Saduak - Kanchanaburi - Sai Yok - Cultural sightseeing packages (B/-/D)

Heading out of the town we make our way to Kanchanaburi with stopover at the picturesque floating market of Damnern Saduak, which opens in the early morning till noon. Here we have a chance to go around by boat, exploring the bustling trade of local villagers. We continue our journey to visit Nakorn Pathom, the country's largest pagoda. The enchanting town of Kanchanaburi has plenty to see, some of which are the famous bridge over the River Kwai , the sobering War Cemetery and the Jeath War Museum. We include these in a short sightseeing tour before we make our way though the beautiful countryside to the Kwai Noi River. The longtail boat trip takes us along the river past the stunning mountainous landscape to the Jungle Rafts. The perfect way to round off the day is a dinner followed with the performance of the Mon hill tribe.

Day 4: Highlight of Thailand Tours: Sai Yok - Helfire Pass - Kanchanaburi Adventure Tours (B/-/-)

The exploration of Kanchanaburi Region continues with a drive to the Hellfire Pass. This world famous site features the fascinating museum chronicling the events of World War II and the notorious "Death Railway". This rail link was all but partly destroyed by the offensive, however it is still fascinating to walk along the ruins. We make our way to the Tiger Temple, home of wild Damnern Saduak Bangkok Thailandtigers. They can be seen close up and are touchable. Upon leaving this site we drive to Nam Tok and board a train ride through the breathtaking landscape and the wooden bridge built along the mountainside by the allied prisoners of the second World War. The train journey deliver us to Takilen Station . Here we meet up with our driver and return to Kanchanaburi Town. The rest of the day will be free for your visit to the town and relaxation.

THE LOST CITY OF MRAUK U





Day 1: Myanmar Adventure Tours: Yangon Package Tours – Sittwe ( L,D ) Shwedagon Temple in Yangon

Transfer to the airport in Yangon for your flight to Sittwe, capital of the Rakhine State. Lunch at local restaurant Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel before taking a leisurely sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the colorful fish market and the Rakhine State Cultural Museum, an extensive collection of displays and exhibitions explaining the culture and history of the Rakhine people. Dinner at local restaurant Overnight in Sittwe.

Day 2: Myanmar Adventure Tours: Sittwe Package Tours – Mrauk U Sightseeing Tours ( B, L, D )

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit local market before transfer to the jetty at 8:00 for a boat trip to Mrauk U. The journey takes about 5-6 hours as you travel upstream on the Kaladan River on a chartered local boat. Lunch on board Mid-day arrive in Mrauk U. Mrauk U was the capital in the 15th century and at its peak it was one of the richest cities in all of Asia. This period was one of prolific building and is, today, a major archeological site. This afternoon, your visit includes Koethaung Temple, the Pitakataik Library, Laungbanpyauk Pagoda, Yadana Mannaung and Sakaya Mannaung Pagodas. Tonight dinner will be taken at a local restaurant. Awake early and depart hotel around 06:00 to enjoy the sunrise over the misty hills of Mrauk U. Return to your hotel for breakfast and then continue sightseeing in Mrauk U. Begin with a visit to the local market and continue to the ruins of the Royal Palace. Then tour the town’s Archaeological Museum where old artifacts and ancient relics are displayed. Lunch at local restaurant After lunch, visit Shitthaung Temple, Mrauk U's most important monument. Built in 1535 with a labor force of more than 1,000 architects and workmen, Shitthaung Temple contains a remarkable collection of Arakanese Buddha images and reliefs. Continue to the multi-spire Andawthein Ordination Hall, which is filled with unique stone carvings. Then visit the circular Ratanabon Pagoda and the fortress-like temple of Dukkhanthein, whose vaulted passages contain interesting stone sculptures. Your last stop of today is at Laymyetnha. Built in 1430, Laymyethnha was the first pagoda erected in Mrauk U. Dinner and overnight in Mrauk U.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your Guide who will accompany you as you transfer to the hotel. Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes it one of the most fascinating cities in Southeast Asia. Your Myanmar tour begins with a tour through the city center stopping at the glittering Sule Paya and tranquil Mahabandoola Park as well as walking past the fading colonial-era courthouse and city hall. This afternoon, your sightseeing continues with a visit to Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which houses a 70-meter reclining Buddha. Set off this morning for the first leg of your bike ride to Bagan. You'll cycle from Yangon to Latpadan (142km/ Appr. 7 hour) and then continue to Pyay by car (Latpadan - Pyay 156Km/Appr. 6 hours). The route follows quiet roads and passes through local markets and villages where you can stop to meet the locals, take photos and learn about rural Burmese lifestyles. A midday lunch stop will be made at local restaurant. Upon arrival in Pyay transfer to your hotel for a chance to freshen up. Take a short tour of Pyay, the town formerly known as Prome. Today's journey takes you to Magway by bike and car. After breakfast, you'll depart Pyay by bike following Thit Yar Kaut Street out of town until reaching Koe Pin Junction (60km). The road is mostly flat and free of traffic. At the junction, your car will be waiting to transfer you the final 26 km to Magway. lunch will be served at local restaurant and enjoy the tea break in the evening. There is plenty of time to relax and prepare for tomorrow's challenging ride, or you can explore the town. Wake up early this morning and fuel up for a challenging ride to Mount Popa (90km). On the way, the scenery changes as you cross into one of the most arid regions of Myanmar. The landscape is filled with toddy palm fields and you will have a chance to stop and observe the process of creating toddy juice. The toddy-palm plays an Popa Mountainimportant role in Myanmar rural life, beyond creating juice and sugars for the people, it also provides shade as well as provides materials for making household utensils, building and medicines. The last stretch of your journey to Bagan combines walking, village visits and cycling. Then coast downhill on your way to Bagan, stopping a local villages along the way. As the roads flatten out and you approach Bagan, ancient stupas will begin to appear in the distance.
